I'm a very new cosplayer, who predominantly got into it because I really quite liked the idea of serious dressing up! I love going to cons with my friends, and immersing myself in my favourite pastime of geekdom.

I choose my cosplays on whether I'm in the fandom, sometimes on physical similarity, sometimes on interest!

I couldn't do without my amazingly talented mother. Don't get me wrong, I sew, but she is the Jedi Master to my Padawan. She is a wizard (with a sewing machine).

Ok, here goes. I thought, as I was pondering titles, about Around the World in Eighty Days. I then thought, well, could this site be documentation of an odyssey into the creation of eighty costumes. How on earth am I going to do that? Oh goodness. What have I done. I'll be seeing you then :)
